Are you wondering what’s on the ballot this year? And by the way, when is the election anyway??
There are two measures on this year’s ballot that will ask if voters want to tax themselves to increase funding to our schools in SD51 and for public safety. CIC is offering the opportunity to hear from those leading the efforts to get these passed in two separate sessions.

Thursday, October 5th8-9 a.m. – School Funding. Presentation by Kelly Flenniken, Xcel Energy and Chairperson of Citizens for SD 51.

Friday, October 1312-1 pm – Public Safety. Presentation by Dan Rubenstein, District Attorney & Matt Lewis, Mesa County Sheriff.

Both sessions will be offered at Hilltop Corporate Office in the Training Room, 1330 Hermosa Avenue. Bring your own water/lunch. Thank you, Hilltop

Also bring co-workers, board members, volunteers to learn. These are hugely important issues and we all need to be informed before we vote!
And vote we must!!
